The Mortgage Times comes to WordPress
October 10, 2006
So, I’ve decided to port The Mortgage Times over to WordPress. If you are here, you most likely got here from the old “Mortgage Times”, which was located at Blogger. I decided to move it over here to give it a more corporate, serious look and feel.
Originally, The Mortgage Times was an offshoot of my personal blog, Random Meanderings, where there is more personal stuff, good for a chuckle I guess. But I decided that people who seek mortgages should look for lenders/brokers who put information out on the web. I say this because if it was ME looking for a mortgage, I would want to know that my loan professional is knowledgeable, and wants me to learn about the daunting task ahead of me.
Over the next little bit, I will port over the 20 or so posts that are at the old site, pertaining specifically to mortgage financing.
You won’t find any pretty pictures here. No funny ones either. That’s not why you are here.
I simply seek to put some of my learned knowledge out there from which others may gain. It won’t be the most exhaustive gathering of information on mortgage finance. In fact, some may disagree with my notes here. But that’s okay, because the idea here is to EDUCATE. I’m not a know-it-all, I have things yet to learn. However, I have a solid educational and experiential background in finance, and in mortgage finance in particular, and I have had good success at educating potential borrowers as to the ins and outs of the process, and how it will effect them over the short- and long-term.
Your comments are welcome.
